1. Who are we?

FC Web Design (fcwebdesign.net) is a web design business located in Val-David, Quebec. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we protect it, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (including the amendments made by Law 25).

2. Person in charge of the protection of personal information

The person in charge of the protection of personal information is the owner of FC Web Design. For any question or request for access, correction or withdrawal, write to: francois@fcwebdesign.net.

3. Information collected

When you use our contact form, we only collect the information you choose to provide:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your phone number (optional);
• the service or package you are interested in (optional);
• the content of your message.

We do not collect any sensitive information and we do not use any targeted advertising tools.

4. Why we use it

This information is used only to respond to your request, prepare a quote and, if you become a client, carry out and follow up on your project. An automatic confirmation email may be sent to let you know your message was received.

5. Consent

By submitting the form, you consent to your information being used for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us.

6. Disclosure to third parties

We never sell, rent or trade your information. It is shared only with the providers needed to run the website and our email, namely our web and email host (Hostinger), which may store data outside Quebec. The website also uses public display libraries (icon fonts and style sheets) that may receive technical browsing data, such as your IP address.

7. Retention and security

Your information is kept in our password-protected mailbox only as long as needed to handle your request or manage our business relationship, and is then deleted. The website is served securely (HTTPS).

8. Cookies

Our website does not use tracking cookies or analytics tools.

9. Your rights

You may at any time request access to your information, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by writing to francois@fcwebdesign.net. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
